The week you have been waiting for is coming… IMPACT 2012!!
If you don’t know what IMPACT is, let me tell you. It’s our MISSION’S TRIP, but right here in our own community! We live at the church for a week and help out in various ministries. Last year we helped at Haven of Rest, the Akron-Canton Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity and our own church.
IMPACT is for junior and senior high students… but that’s not all! We need LOTS of adult volunteers to make this happen. Things like driving us to our places of ministry, helping with feeding us (we get tired working all day and it makes it hard to feed the 2 dozen of us afterward!) and PRAYER! This CAN NOT happen without a foundation of prayer!
Be watching the church lobby for a display at the end of May with ways you can help, and an application packet for those teens interested in joining us this year.
