Youth Leaders
Senior High Leaders
Lisa Gopp- Lisa is one of our very talented and organized leaders who leads a small group and Bible study. While she’s not investing in the lives of many of our teens, she’s mom to two in our youth group and a wife to one of our JH leaders! Always leading with a smile, Lisa is a leader you should get to know…if you haven’t already!
Alex Horsfall- Alex is a one of SAF’s own and is a guy’s small group leader. He also helps with the worship teams and is involved in our 4:12 college ministry. Alex leads the way in hospitality and welcoming new people to the church and youth group!
Abe Horsfall- When he’s not at Chic-Fil-A, Abe is hanging out with the guys in youth group and playing his guitar. He leads worship for many groups, and is a guys small group leader….and he’s still single.
Sarah Parker- Sarah is one of the veterans of the leaders as she has been serving the youth since 2003. Sarah is a women’s small group leader and a spiritual mentor to many girls. Sarah loves to laugh and have a good time, but will always point you to God!
Josh Ray- having graduated from youth group several years ago, Josh comes back to SAF as an attendee at the University of Akron! A master paint-baller and proficient in video gameology, Josh is a great guy with a love for the Lord and a passion for His word!
Citer Trowbridge- Coming from a long line of awesome people, Citer is dedicated to building up the guys in the youth group and seeing them grow in their walk with Jesus! He plays a mean guitar and attends Akron U. He helps lead a guys small group and assists with the youth worship team!
Diana Warner- Mother of two of our teens, Diana has a servant’s heart and is helpful in many ways. While she’s not helping organize one of our group parties, she leads a girls small group and Bible Study.
Kelly Whittington Kelly is a student at the University of Akron and has joined our youth group team as a small group leader on Sunday mornings. Kelly keeps herself busy working several jobs and taking college courses, all the while encouraging and mentoring our teens!

Junior High Leaders
Perry Gopp- Perry is an awesome JH leader! He is a father of two in the youth group and had served in the Children’s Ministry for many years. Perry is passionate about the lost, about discipleship, and about the living out Word of God.
Ashlee Miller- having previously starred in the Sound of Music with Pastor Seth all the way back in 2000, Ashlee brings her talents and energy to SAF’s junior high girls and leading the small group! Not only can she sing, but she is reigning 2-time champion of SAF’s fantasy football league.
Michael Ray-Mike is our Junior High coordinator and has two sons who graduated from our youth group, Jake and Josh. Mike is an excellent communicator and has completely designed The Subway (aka, the Junior High Room). He loves JH-ers and enjoys the Canoe Trip, Fun Nights, and the yearly hiking spree!
Kenny and Ryan Steedly- This dynamic duo is energetic, fun-loving, and passionate about SAF youth and helping them grow in Christ! Ryan is our children’s director at SAF and Kenny is part of the worship team, children’s ministry, and a lot more. They rock!
Megan Zallar Having just graduated from the youth group, Megan jumps right back in again as a Jr High leader. Her love for the Lord is evident in all she does and she can’t wait to love and encourage young teens in their walk with Christ.

4:12 (College and Young Adults)
Sara Bisheimer- Sara is the 4:12 coordinator and organizes this groups’ meetings and activities. She is passionate about worshipping Christ, equipping the young adults to serve and lead, and is committed to edifying and encouraging them on their journey with Jesus!
